For 24-hour races

Smarter projections with the PaceCurve model

For timed events, Race Pace can use the PaceCurve model — a data-driven approach trained on five years of 24-hour race results. Rather than assuming a fixed pace, it learns how fatigue typically unfolds and adjusts your projection as the race progresses.

Prediction error drops from ~70 km at the 1-hour mark to under 10 km by hour 18, as your individual pace profile becomes clearer.

Explore the model analysis
The model identifies three fatigue archetypes from your pace history:
Cautious
Restrained early pace that holds up well. Narrowest prediction interval late in the race.
Aggressive
Fast early pace that fades significantly in the second half. High upside, high variance.
Consistent
Consistent effort throughout. Pace stays close to average across all 24 hours.
